One of the longest serving volunteers in Ontario college athletics, Chuck Gullickson of Centennial College spent over 30 years serving both the OCAA and CCAA. Gullickson's involvement on the OCAA Executive Committee began in 1975-76 as a Vice-President. He served one term, and then was the association's President for the 1979-80 and 1980-81 seasons. Gullickson moved on to the national scene in 1987, and served four terms on the CCAA Executive Committee in a variety of leadership positions including President from 1994-95 to 1995-96. 

Gullickson was the Senior Convenor for OCAA badminton and judo during the 1971-72 season, tennis for the 1974-75, 1975-76 and 1978-79 seasons, soccer in the 1976-77 season, badminton in the 1978-79 season, and men's hockey in the 1983-84 season. 

In 1999, Gullickson took on a staff position at the CCAA as the Director of Marketing, before retiring in 2002. In 1993 he was honoured by the OCAA and presented with a Shield Award to signify his contributions.
