In three seasons with the Centennial College Colts, Cindy Horton posted number few have. Enrolling in 1981, Cindy wasted little time making her mark, leading the OCAA Women's Hockey league in points and assists in her first two seasons and finished second in both categories in her final year behind fellow Hall of Famer Angela James. In her three years of hockey, Horton collected all three colours of medals earning an OCAA Bronze medal in 1981-82, Gold in 1982-83 and Silver in 1983-84. Cindy also played Softball for the Colts where her team captured OCAA Silver in the 1983-84 season. Horton was also named Centennial College's Athlete of the Year in 1982. 

Cindy was recently named to the OCAA All-Millennium Hockey Team for her previous accomplishments. In1981-1982 Cindy was the league scoring champion.  

In 81-82 and 82-83 Cindy was a playoff point champion and was named to the OCAA All Star Team. From 81-84 she accumulated 135 pts with 67 Goals & 68 Assists, placing her 3rd on the all -time OCAA list for career points. 

Cindy continued to remain active in the community, in 2007, as an assistant coach she helped Team Canada's Women's Ball Hockey team at the first ever World Ball Hockey Championship in Ratingen, Germany. She also dedicates her time as Co-chair of the Toronto Street Buds Committee, a position she has held for 11 years, coordinating youth ball hockey programs run in conjunction with the Toronto Maple Leafs, ESSO and the Ontario Ball Hockey Association.
