Dennis McDonald
Title: Men's Hockey
Category: Coach
Induction: 2017

Dennis McDonald joined Centennial College as a faculty member when the Recreation Leadership program moved to Centennial from the University of Guelph in 1967.

During that time he coached the men’s hockey teams from 1967 to 1972 and became Centennial’s first Athletic Director in 1968. Dennis was actively involved in the early development of the OCAA, as he served on the executive team from 1970 to 1971.

Dennis McDonald left the College in 1974 to become the Technical Director of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association. The phenomenal growth and development of the CAHA in coaching and international competition can be attributed in great measure to his leadership.
