The Loyalist Lancers women's basketball team delivered an impressive 81-43 victory over the Centennial Colts at home on Saturday. Loyalist took control early, leading 17-13 after the first quarter and dominating the second with a 25-7 run, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
Grace Callahan led the way with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Jessyka Maliksi added 13 points, while Brooklynn White contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. The Lancers capitalized on turnovers, scoring 30 points off Centennial's mistakes, and dominated in the paint with 36 points.
With this win, the Lancers improved to 5-2 on the season and continue to showcase their strength in conference play. The team looks to continue their winning streak when they travel to Barrie to take on the Georgian Grizzlies Friday, November 29th.
