HUSKIES SEASON COMES TO AN END

HUSKIES SEASON COMES TO AN END

The Men's Soccer team fell 1-0 in extra time to the Centennial Colts at home in the first round of the playoffs on Wednesday night (Oct. 18).

HOW IT HAPPENED: The match was a tightly contested defensive battle, with both sides creating a few chances but unable to score in the first 90 minutes, leading to extra time. The Colts struck first in the opening 15 minutes to go up 1-0.

With 10 minutes remaining, the Colts received a red card, and the Huskies increased the pressure. They thought they had equalized through Yonis Jama, but the goal was ruled offside. Despite their efforts, the Huskies couldn't score, ending their streak of three straight OCAA Final Four appearances.
