Box Score SCARBOROUGH, ON - Facing Centennial for the second time in under a week, the Durham College men's soccer team came up short in a 3-2 road loss to the Colts in Scarborough on Tuesday night.

After some physical play to open the rematch, from which Durham won 2-1 in a come-from-behind effort a week ago, the Lords opened the scoring right before the half to take a 1-0 lead into the break following a Skylar Grey (Ajax, ON) goal. Grey now has five goals on the season, ranking second in the OCAA.

Following halftime, DC added another in the early part of the second frame to jump ahead 2-0 courtesy Joshua Mehta (Mississauga, ON).

However, closing in on the 60th minute the Colts scored two goals within minutes of each other to tie the game and bring a renewed energy to the pitch. Not long after, Centennial's counter-attacking style found what would be the game-winner in the tough road contest for the Lords.

DC will look to bounce back this Friday, Oct. 8 when they host the St. Lawrence Surge at Vaso's Field in the regular season home finale. Earlier this season the Lords fell 2-1 to the Surge in Kingston. Durham will expect a different result this Friday as they are yet to drop a match when playing at Vaso's Field this season. Kick off is set for 8:15 p.m. with the game also being streamed on OCAA LIVE.
