The Centennial Colts Men's Basketball team came close on Saturday's loss away against Georgian. The Colts went into this game on a four-game winning streak, looking to extend their streak to five games, but fell just short. The Colts and Grizzlies traded leads before the Grizzlies edged the Colts out to seal the win. The final score was 105-100 Georgian. Deandre Goulbourne continued his torrent season after a one-game absence, tallying 24 points in 27 minutes. Gouldbourne was on fire from beyond the arc, going 6 for 9. The Colts also had a stellar contribution from Tavonn Mars-Buckley, who finished with 20 points. 

Next up for the Colts is the Seneca on Wednesday (January 18) at the Athletics & Wellness Centre. Tip-off is at 8:00 PM. Their last match-up was an earlier contender for the game of the season as the Sting erased 17 points deficit between the 3 and 4 quarters before the Colts sealed the win 74-68.
