The Men's Indoor Soccer teams hosted the Centennial Annual Invitational tournament at the Pickering Soccer Centre. The men finished round robin play in a three way tie for first. The team opened up the day on a positive note winning a highly contested matchup against the U of T Mississauga Eagles by a score of 4-3. In the second contest of the day he Colts lost by a score of 1-0 to our Downtown rivals and eventual tournament winners the George Brown Huskies. In the last game of the round robin the colts defeated Sheridan college by a score of 4 to 3. This three-way tie was broken by goal differential and the team was relegated to the consolation match once again against Sheridan college.
It would take penalties to ensure a winner and the Colts emerged victorious winning he game 3-2 and finishing 3rd in the tournament. The COLTS Team MVP for the Tournament was Stephen Hewdieh scoring four goals for Centennial in the contest.
