Extramural Volleyball

Everest Fabro-Valdez is the assistant coach of the Varsity Women's Volleyball program as well as the Head coach of the Extramural Co-Ed Volleyball Team.  He is a prominent member of Centennial's Athletic and Recreation Department.

Everest is the Facility Coordinator of the Fitness Centre at the Story Arts Centre campus. Everest is a Centennial College Rec & Leisure graduate and a former placement student with the Athletics & Recreation department. He is well versed in working within the department as he has hands on experience in all positions.  Outside of volleyball, Everest keeps active by participating in outside leagues for basketball, ultimate frisbee and softball. Everest is excited for this coaching learning opportunity, and is looking forward to Centennial's OCAA Volleyball comeback!

He looks forward to watching the seniors bring their game to the next level and push their limits in their last year.  The team this year is filled with a lot of potential and he is excited to see the players develop over the season.  The program is only in its fourth year back into the OCAA after a 30 year absence and the program has improved the record each season since being introduced back.  He is excited to see where the program can be in the next few years and with volleyball being such a popular sport, is expecting an increase in home game participation.  The ladies are working hard during practices and we cannot wait to see it reflect in games this season.
