Colts Battle to a Draw in Game 2

TORONTO - The early conversion by Miley Decoff wasn't enough to get the Colts their first win of the day as they finished their second game 1-1 against Laurier Brantford.

In the eighth minute, Emily Duncan came off the bench in relief of Emily Cullen and immediately made an impact feeding a through ball to Decoff who slotted home a short-side shot to take the lead.

The one-goal lead held up for the majority of the game until a desperation shot by Laurier Brantford placed off the foot of Cullen and found its way to the back of the net behind Jordan Chrons-Slaght.

Centennial's keeper had the opposite kind of game in front of her this time around. The team in front of her controlled the pace and the possession of the game to the point where Chrons-Slaght had very little to do in terms of making highlight reel saves — unlike the previous game.

An unlucky bounce was the difference between walking away from the game with one point instead of three. The Colts take on Conestoga in their third and possibly final game of the tournament.
