You'll Always Have a Friend in Centennial

By: Anthony Santia

Jessica Friend has been the Assistant Coach and Video Analysis Coach for the Centennial College Women's Soccer team for the last three seasons under Head Coach Rich Hirst. After Jessica graduated from the University of Western with a Degree in Criminology and from Centennial College with a Paralegal Graduate Certificate, she decided to join the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Female Apprentice Coach Program.

This program focuses on giving former female athletes who demonstrate the want and skills to coach sports by providing them opportunities to share in the coaching experience in CCAA National Championship sports. This program is two years long and promises to give its mentees an opportunity to give them hands on experience. Jessica is now moving on with her career as a paralegal. She leaves behind three very successful seasons as an assistant coach. In those three years that she was on the coaching staff, Centennial's Indoor Women's Soccer team won a bronze and silver medal.

Coach Jess will be a Colt forever, and we will always be proud to say you were a part of our school.

Centennial wishes all the best for Jessica in her future endeavours.
