Colts Take on Phoenix Looking to Get Back on the Winning Streak

By: Pedro Casellatto

The Centennial Women's Volleyball Team is looking for redemption after losing the last game in four to the Seneca Sting. Now, the opponent and host for this matchup is the Fleming Phoenix, and the game is happening this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in Peterborough.

The Colts had a good game but were not able to take control against the Sting, and they will be looking to work on it in this upcoming match. They know that pace will be very important to overcome the challenges they faced last game. They must dictate the rhythm of the game, and serving will be key to achieving that goal. The middle blocker, CL Viloria, said that they have been working on serving as the first step of their defensive system. "Putting them out of the system will be advantageous for us and will allow us to find and stop their key players," she completed.

The Phoenix had a rough beginning this season and are still fighting for their first victory. They will count on the support of their fans to outplay the Colts and try to agitate their season.

We look forward to seeing how the Colts are going to come out for this game after a tough loss. It is just the beginning, and they will need to be resilient in order to get a better position in the standings. We hope they can bring the victory home and get some momentum going for the rest of the season.
