On Tuesday evening at Stan Wadlow Park, the Centennial Colts Men's Baseball team hosted the Toronto Cardinals 18U Elite Team for the Colts first ever game in program history.
Even though it was a post-season exhibition match, the Colts displayed talent in their first ever 2-1 win. Defense was the team's biggest asset as starting pitcher, Austin Fraser threw for 5 innings, striking out 9 batters and only allowing the 1 run to secure the win. Colts catcher, Stefano Della Mora, scored the team's first ever run in the 3rd inning followed by Nicholas Greenslade who scored in the 5th.
