Our Program
At Centennial, we recognize that Strength and Conditioning (S&C) is a vital component of athletic performance and overall health. Our Strength and Conditioning program is designed to empower varsity student-athletes to reach their full potential by developing strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance—allowing them to perform at the highest level of their sport.
We take a holistic approach to training that extends beyond physical development to include mental wellness, nutrition, and injury prevention. Our experienced coaches work collaboratively with athletes, coaching staff, and sports medicine professionals to design periodized, individualized training plans that align with each team’s and athlete’s specific goals and needs.
Varsity student-athletes train at the Athletic and Wellness Centre at Progress Campus, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with top-of-the-line equipment and technology. The facility includes a fully equipped weight room, cardio machines, a running track, studios, and a turf field. The program offers both group and individual coaching led by our Strength and Conditioning staff.
Our Leaders
The Strength and Conditioning program is led and coordinated by:
Kaylin Fraser, R.Kin, CAT(C)
Athletic Therapist and Varsity Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Kaylin Fraser, R.Kin, CAT(C)
Kaylin Fraser is a Registered Kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist with over 15 years of experience training and working with athletes at all levels, from grassroots sport to Olympic and professional competition. She believes the most effective approach to athlete development is holistic—recognizing that each individual is more than just an athlete.
Kaylin specializes in biomechanical analysis, injury prevention–focused training, sport performance, and strength development. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University and a postgraduate diploma in Athletic Therapy from York University. A former high-level athlete herself, Kaylin competed as a varsity student-athlete at Brock University.
In 2015, Kaylin was hired to create and develop Centennial’s Strength and Conditioning program for varsity teams. Since then, the program has grown into a core part of the varsity culture and expectations of a Centennial Colt student-athlete. Kaylin oversees and coordinates the S&C program and works closely with Coach Blake and Centennial Fitness and Health Promotion placement students to deliver training and programming for nine varsity teams.
What to Expect:

Wellness surveys are also distributed to monitor athletes’ well-being related to five key areas (Sleep, School, Emotional, Physical, and Sport).
