
Overview
The Centennial Colts welcome media members to cover our athletic events and support the promotion of our student-athletes, coaches, and teams. Media accreditation ensures that all journalists, photographers, and broadcasters receive the necessary access and resources while maintaining a safe and organized event environment.
Who Should Apply?
Media accreditation is available to individuals and organizations representing:
- Print and digital media outlets
- Broadcast media (radio and television)
- Sports bloggers and independent journalists
- Official team photographers and videographers
- Collegiate media and student publications
Accreditation Benefits
Approved media members will receive:
- Access to designated media areas at Colts athletic events
- Official Colts media passes for the season or individual events
- Game-day statistics, media kits, and athlete information
- Post-game interviews with athletes and coaches
- Permission to use Colts logos and branding (subject to guidelines)
How to Apply
To apply for media accreditation for the Centennial Colts, please follow these steps:

Prepare a Request
Your request for accreditation should include:- Full name and contact information of the applicant(s)
- Media outlet or organization being represented by the attendee
- Type of coverage planned (photography, written journalism, broadcast, etc.)
- Dates or specific events you wish to cover (e.g., single game, season pass)

Send your accreditation request via email to Ryan Miller, Centennial Colts Sports Information and Marketing Officer, at RMiller@centennialcollege.ca.- Please ensure that you CC Michelle Ervin, Centennial College Media Relations Manager, at MErvin@centennialcollege.ca in your email.
Media Access Guidelines
- Media Passes: Approved media members will receive a single-event pass. Passes must be worn at all times during the event. Passes must be returned upon completion of the event to Ryan Miller or Glory Ezeude
- Media Area: Access to designated media areas is granted with a media pass. These areas are reserved for working journalists and photographers.
- Interview Requests: Post-game interview requests for players or coaches should be coordinated with Ryan Miller. Please submit your requests before the event or during halftime/intermission.
- Photography and Videography: Photographers and videographers are required to stay within approved areas for safety reasons. Permission must be sought for any commercial use of media captured during Colts events.
Deadlines
Media accreditation requests should be submitted no later than 48 hours before the event you wish to cover. Late requests may not be accommodated.
MEDIA REQUIREMENTS
for covering college sporting events
You must:
- Obtain accreditation in advance
- Secure College-issued media badge (non-transferable)
- Keep your media badge visible at all times
- Return your media badge at end of game
- Be authorized to film or photograph event
Failure to comply may lead to removal
