Colts Out-Battle Lancers

Belleville, ON - The Colts Men's Basketball team completed the season sweep against the Loyalist Lancers with a 76-64 win.

The biggest lead Centennial had was 14 points. They ended the game with a 10-point lead that they gained late in the fourth quarter. A moment to look back on from last night's game was when Tavonn Mars-Buckley stole the ball back with four minutes left in the first and hit a ferocious dunk to light up the Colts bench. That set the pace for the entire game, which saw the Colts on offence for the majority of it.

The Lancers made a massive push during the third quarter outsourcing the Colts 28-16. This saw them have the lead going into a close fourth quarter. It was here when Centennial began to dominate. They outscored the Lancers 26-12 in the fourth. One stat that stood out from this game is that Tavonn Mars-Buckley played all 40 minutes of this Wednesday night matchup, which helped the Colts win their fourth game in a row.

Centennial will be looking to extend their streak to five games when they play Georgian on Friday, January 12 at 8:00 PM in Barrie.
