The Centennial Colts Women's Basketball team lost to the Georgian Grizzlies 83-52 Saturday night. The loss now takes the Colts record to 1-8. They are on a three-game losing streak dating back to the end of November. Tara Dowrich had another amazing game on Saturday, racking up 20 points and 10 rebounds throughout 31 minutes on the court. The Colts got off to a bad start in this game and struggled to get themselves back in it. Centennial has struggled with turnovers all season long, and we saw this trend continue in this game with them giving up the ball for free 23 times. Next up, the Colts take on Sencea at 6 PM on Wednesday, January 17. In their last game against the Sting, the Colts lost a heartbreaker by one point and will look to get revenge on home turf.
