SCARBOROUGH, ONT. - On Saturday afternoon, the Fleming Knights were no match for the Lady Colts as they were swept off of the Athletic and Wellness Centre floor (25-11, 25-12, 25-16).

Stella Dada and Heather Sanchez each led the Colts with seven kills and a game high nine points. Nadjema Soro had a game high 18 assists while Vicky Wong had a game high three aces.

The Knights fell on their sword as they committed numerous errors: 10 on the serve, 12 on the attack, and a handful of errors via double touch. Centennial outclassed the visitors in digs (36-21), aces (11-1), kills (26-7), and assists (26-0).

The Colts had a dominant first set, winning 25-11. Dada had three kills and an ace for four points during the first set alone. Despite a sloppy start with uncharacteristic attack errors, the Colts squad showed aggressiveness and used the strength of a 14-1 run to pull away out of a 6-6 tie early.

The Colts started with an 11-1 lead. A kill by Sara Grosse briefly seemed to spark life into the Fleming's offense. There were more AE by C, but their aggressiveness remained unwavering. The Lady Colts closed the set with a score of 25-12.

The Knights were not willing to go down without a fight. The Lady Colts were forced to take a timeout and regained their dominance. Dada had back-to-back kills, widening the lead to 20-13 and eventually took the third set, 25-16.

Coming off a 3-0 win against George Brown on Thursday, this is the second straight game that the Lady Colts have won in three sets.
