Colts Travel to Georgian for Payback

By: Pedro Casellatto

The Centennial Women's Volleyball team will have the opportunity to take revenge against the Georgian Grizzlies this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. After dropping the first game at home in five sets, the Colts will be travelling to Barrie looking to get even.

The Colts have worked on fixing the errors that happened in the last game against the Grizzlies, which was a deciding factor in the loss. They showed that in their last two games at home, winning both also in the tiebreak. They were able to recover from the loss and show a lot of motivation. The Colts head coach, Andrew Malory, is excited to see how the team will perform in this game. Mallory said, "The motivation after that game was a little late but welcome, and our goal is to come out for this game with the same mentality."

The home team, the Georgian Grizzlies, did not have the best start of the season. Even after the win against the Colts, they are still sitting in 7th place with only two wins. Coming off a loss against the Canadore Panthers, they will be looking for the opportunity to find momentum and start a new streak of wins.

The Colts had two positive performances, but we know that this team is filled with potential. We hope to see that in this game and to see the Colts working together to bring home another win.

Game time from Michele McConney Court in Barrie is 6PM.
