Trip to North Bay, Fourth on the Line

Trip to North Bay, Fourth on the Line

By: Pedro Casellatto

After a great performance against the Georgian Grizzlies, the Centennial Women's Volleyball team travels to North Bay looking to add another win to their win streak. This time, they will be defending the fourth place against the Canadore Panthers, which is currently placed fifth and is looking to get a spot in the top four.

On the Colts' side, the energy has been nothing more than fantastic. They showed a lot of skill and motivation to defeat their last three opponents. They are now looking to make it four and end the Panthers' streak of three. The Colts' right-side hitter, Natalie McLachlan, is more than excited for this game. "The team has been demonstrating a lot of passion and hustle in practices, and we feel great about this game," said McLachlan.

On the Panthers' side, the energy is matched. Dropping only one of the last ten sets they played, they built a lot of momentum and are also ready to take on the strong Centennial Colts. With aggressive service and a compact defensive system, they will be challenging the Colts' attack throughout the entire game.

Both teams have demonstrated a lot of passion and energy in their last matches, and we hope this repeats in this game. The Colts will be looking to reinforce their attack to get through the Panthers' defence.

The first serve is at 1:00 p.m. from College Drive Gymnasium.
