Colts Looking to Surge into Playoffs

By: Jack Middleton

The Centennial Women's Basketball team will travel to Kingston to take on the St. Lawrence Surge on Friday night at 6PM.  Following their final home game of the season this past weekend, the Colts take to the road for their final two games of the season with their first stop in Kingston to take on the Surge.

The Second half of the season has looked much different than the first half of the season with the team buying into the defensive systems and scoring with efficiency.

In the final 2 games of the regular season, the Colts work towards two goals, moving up 1-2 spots in the standings and gaining momentum for the playoffs.

Players to Watch

Look to the Colts' Zhané Michael to lead the charge.  Averaging just under 10 points a game while shooting 25% from 3 point range, Michael's game is key to the Colts looking for victory.

For the Surge, Look out for Ella Doull.  Averaging 18 points a game and 2 steals a game, Doull runs the offense for the Surge and if the Colts look to come out with a win, they will need to stop Doull.

Game time from the Kingston Campus Gymnasium is 6PM.
