With Liam Oates on the mound in Game 2 and coming off a perfect game against the Sault Cougars, the Colts use that confidence to jump out to an early 1-0 lead on a double by Josh Savoie, scoring Riley Briggs. The Lions again answer in the bottom of the 1st, scoring one run. In the top of the 3rd Josh Savoie continued his tear with a 2-run home run to give the Colts a 4-1 lead.

The Lambton Lions bats proved to be too much on the night for the Colts pitchers as the Lions scored 7 unanswered runs and took game 2 by a score of 8-4.

The Lions improve to 4-0 on the season, while the Colts fall to 3-2. The next game for the Colts comes tomorrow, Saturday, September 16th at 1 and 3 PM against the St. Clair Saints.
