Colts Look for Revenge Against the Surge

Colts Look for Revenge Against the Surge

The Centennial Men's Soccer Team is taking on the St. Lawrence Surge for the second time in the season this Friday at 6:00 PM. After a 0-1 loss in the home game, with a heartbreaking goal in the 89th minute, the Colts ride to the Kingston Campus South Field looking to redeem themselves and bring back the momentum.

Looking for a better position in the standings, the Colts will have to figure out how to get through the Surge defence and capitalize on chances, which is something we didn't see often in the last home games. The Colts' keeper and athlete of the week, Joshua Naraine, said: "We are not creating as many chances as we would like, and that played a crucial role in the past games at home."

The Surge, on the other hand, had their first loss last weekend, which stopped the wave of momentum they had been riding since the beginning of the season. They see this game as an opportunity to not lose time and start winning again to fight for a spot with the top teams.

We look forward to seeing the Colts face the Surge again, and most importantly, to seeing how they will perform after the loss at home. We hope they can take control and bring a win back home.
