Oshawa, ON - The Centennial Men's Volleyball team got another win at home, increasing the streak to three wins. Last night, the Colts defeated the Loyalist Lancers in three sets, showing a lot of efficiency in the net and service line.

The Colts have had a consistent overall performance and repeated that against the Lancers. With an effective attack and a fast offensive system, they were able to outplay the opponents in all three areas of the net. Michael Matsuto used his attackers evenly, which was key to tiring out the Lancers' blockers. However, Pablo Alvarez was outstanding, and in 14 attempts, he scored 10 times, finishing the game with 11 points. Nikolas Moser, who played on the left side due to the absence of Captain and former Lancer Pedro Casellatto, finished the game with nine points and helped the Colts end the game in three sets.

The Lancers could not keep up with the rhythm the Colts have been inputting in their games so far, and despite the effort and motivation, they could not turn many of the successful digs into dangerous attacks. The veteran outside hitter, Owen Kemp, led the Lancers with seven kills.

This victory took the Colts back to second place, and to secure the spot, they will have to win against the Fleming Phoenix at home. They will be taking on the Phoenix for the second time this season this Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
