Ottawa Road Trip Ends in La Cité

After showing a great level of volleyball and defeating the Algonquin Wolves in four sets, the Centennial Men's Volleyball team will have a few hours to rest as they get ready for the second game of the weekend in Ottawa. They face the La Cité Coyotes Sunday at 3 p.m., looking to sweep the weekend in Ottawa and travel home with top spot in the east division.

The Colts have had a busy beginning of the year, including the tournament and their consistent performance against the Wolves, which was a big step toward the top of the OCAA standings. Now, they have the momentum on their side to challenge the Coyotes for the second time this season, as the first game was won by the Colts in Scarborough. The energy seems to be nice and smooth among the players; they have shown a distinct level of resiliency and kept their heads up to face every challenge they have been through this year. The middle blocker, Alexandros Tsevas, said that the team grew a lot over the past few weeks. "We rely on that connection to get over the challenges we will have to face. We work well together, and I believe that is our strongest quality," completed Tsevas.

The last-placed Coyotes are still looking to get their first win. Despite the results, the effort and the energy have been unmatched by any other team. They will be counting on that to get their first win and eventually get momentum going for the remainder of the season.

It will be a great opportunity for the Colts to practice controlling the pace of the game, making sure they dictate how the events will unfold. We hope the Coyotes bring that energy and enthusiasm we are used to seeing, making it a great volleyball match.
