After a dramatic end of the season that was only decided in the last round, the Centennial Men's Volleyball team will be playing their first game of the playoffs this Saturday at 7 p.m. The Colts will be the hosts for this game, and coming to the Athletic and Wellness Centre, the Mohawk Mountaineers will be looking to make some noise.

The Colts have had their best season in a while. The changes in the coaching staff and the new additions for this season seem to have worked out well so far. Names such as Michael Matsuto and Gianluca Righetto have been in the top 5 for different stats since the first round of the season. Now, the team has the chance to show everything they have been working for and will be coming out with their best energy.

It will not be the first time the Colts and the Mountaineers face each other this season. They already played in a mid-season tournament hosted in Niagara, and the Colts were able to close the tie-break set and take the win in five. Although it was not an official match and both teams were trying to manage the level of exhaustion, it was a good chance for both teams to get to know each other as they were already potential opponents in the playoffs. Now, both teams will be coming with all they have.

We hope the Colts can maintain the performance they showed in the final games of the season and make up for last season when they fell short in the round of 16 at home. It is, so far, the most important game of the season for both teams. Make sure to save a special spot in your calendar to come to support the Colts as they build their way to the top.
