Jessica Friend is entering her third season as an Assistant Coach at Centennial College. Friend is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Degree in Criminology and of Centennial College with a Paralegal Graduate Certificate.
Friend was a member of the University of Western Ontario's Women’s Varsity Soccer team from 2013-2017, achieving an OUA All-Star nod all four seasons and earning Captain of the 2017 season. She then went on to play a fifth season in 2018 at Centennial College, being named Captain. After graduation, she played in League1 Ontario with Alliance United FC, being named a League1 Ontario All-Star in the 2019 season. In 2019, she began her coaching career at Centennial College, selected as a coaching apprentice for the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (OCAA).
Friend is also a coach at FC Durham Academy, coaching many university and college players attending schools all over North America.
She brings her knowledge, experience and love for the game to our Centennial program.
