Stephen Fowler came to Centennial and made an immediate impact as a player on the Men's Volleyball team. He was named the Centennial College Men's Volleyball MVP in his 2 years of play. In 1984-85 he gathered more accolades as he was named tournament all-star at the George Brown and Sheridan levitational. He became an OCAA All-Star, and was named an OCAA Tournament AllĀ Star, earning a OCAA Silver medal and was named to the CCAAAII-Canadian team. For his efforts he was also named the Centennial Male athlete of the year for 1984-85.
After graduating Stephen decided to continue his volleyball career at Centennial becoming the Men's Volleyball Coach. Like his playing career, he made an immediate impact and won a Silver medal in his first year as a coach.
