Colts Head to George Brown for Two Pivotal Games

By: Jack Middleton

Following a disappointing road trip, the Centennial Colts head to George Brown to face off against the 4-2 George Brown Huskies.

The Huskies enter these games following their road trip to the Sault, where they beat the Cougars 8-1 and 16-0. A team that has scored 55 runs and has only given up 27 runs in 6 games, 3rd baseman Aethan Ballen says "They're a good ball club. We just need to play as a team and minimize our mistakes."

The Colts look to get back on the right track after dropping all four road games over the weekend. Pitching Coach Patrick Orr says, "The pitchers are the key to our success. We know the hitters can produce, but minimizing runners is how we will succeed."

Game 1 from Christie Pitts begins at 5 PM, with game 2 to follow.
