The Colts men's soccer team is now ready for the season opener against George Brown at Esther Shiner Stadium this Friday. It is a new time for the Colts, and this beginning of the season was very important for them to shake the dust off and start working hard to achieve ambitious goals. The team's goal is clear among the players, and they showed that in the preseason game against Brock University.

The men's soccer coach, David Lattavo, mentioned that the players got the opportunity to know each other and work together through the challenges, which is an important principle to him as a coach. Lattavo also mentioned that the preseason did not provide the best conditions for practice, but the coaching staff was very professional and able to provide the players with the best conditions and instructions they could. They developed fast and showed resilience in the preseason since "it is a very long season that will happen in a short period of time", according to the coach.

Coming out this Friday, they are expecting an aggressive George Brown team with a strong offensive line. Defence organization will be key to taking on the Huskies, which is the focus of the Colts for the season opener.
