Colts Trying to Dethrone Leagues Best

After two consecutive wins at home, the Centennial Men's Volleyball team is back on the road. They travel to Barrie, where they will be facing the Georgian Grizzlies this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. in a rematch from last week. In the first game, the Colts could not stop the Grizzlies and ended up losing in three sets. They will be looking not only for revenge but also to hand the Grizzlies their first loss.

Even after the loss, the Colts were able to bounce back and get two wins to elevate morale. They are eager to make it even against the Grizzlies and to win this game, which could easily be the deciding detail for first place later in the season. The Colts captain, Pedro Casellatto, mentioned that this game will probably be the most important so far. "The first game was tough, and I have to confess that we thought about it more than we should. However, this is our chance to show how we can bounce back; for us, it feels like a final," said Casellatto.

The Grizzlies have had an outstanding campaign so far, only dropping two sets, and they are going to play to defend their record and first place. With six wins, including one against the Colts, the Grizzlies come to this game with a lot of confidence and momentum.

It will be a true battle, in which both teams will fight until the very last second. We hope the Colts can be resilient, perform as well as we have been seeing, and bring back home another important win.

Game from Michele McConney Court in Barrie starts at 8PM.
