The Centennial Colts Women's Indoor Soccer team has firmly established itself as a dominant force in the OCAA. For three consecutive years—2023, 2024, and 2025—the team has secured a medal at the OCAA Provincial Championships, marking a historic first for the program. This remarkable streak is a testament to the dedication, talent, and resilience of the student-athletes and coaching staff.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Rich Hirst, the team has consistently been among the top programs within Centennial Athletics and across Ontario. This year, the Colts earned their second straight silver medal, once again proving they are a championship-caliber team. With back-to-back silver finishes, they are now set on taking the final step to gold in 2026.
The journey to the podium was no easy feat. The Colts dominated the regional tournament with a 3-1-0 record, securing their second consecutive regional title. Their performance demonstrated their skill, teamwork, and ability to compete at the highest level.
While falling just short of gold is always tough, bringing home silver is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the team's continued growth. Their success is built on relentless effort, strong leadership, and an unbreakable team spirit. As they set their sights on next season, the Colts are more motivated than ever to reach the top of the podium. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and can't wait to see what the future holds for this exceptional group.
