Ajax, ON – The Centennial Colts headed to Ajax to complete their doubleheader against the Seneca Sting after game 2 of their original doubleheader was postponed earlier in the year.  Both teams come into the game knowing that the game result meant nothing regarding the standings but both wanting to win to build momentum heading into the OCAA championships next week.

The Colts (9-9) sent Keito Shimabukuro to the mound matching up against Seneca's Matteo Stothers.  Seneca (4-14) started out hot scoring a run in both the 1st and the 3rd innings.  The Colts battled back as a double by Aethan Ballen would score Take Mori.  A single by Jacob Little scored Riley Briggs in the 5th inning, followed by a fly ball to center field by Luke Ciavoliello would score Take Mori.

Nathan Chard took over on the mound in the 5th inning and didn't allow a baserunner to shut down the Seneca Sting.  Colts win by a score of 3-2.

The Colts finish the season in 5th spot in the standings meaning that their next game will be Thursday October 19th at 2PM against the 4th place, Fanshawe Falcons. OCAA Championships will be played at Stewart Burnett Park in Aurora.
